Costa Rica Tree House

Enjoy a treehouse holiday on the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. You can find two very unique accommodations: the Costa Rica Tree House and the Beach Suite. The tree house is situated on one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. And has total privacy and a natural and relaxed atmosphere. The Beach Suite is situated next to the sea and has a bathroom built in the shape of an igloo, moreover it is decorated with colored glass. Here you will enjoy your jacuzzi!

Costa Rica Tree House
Situated on the beautiful Punta Uva beach you will find this 2 story treehouse. The floors are in contact with each other through an adventurous steel cable bridge. This romantic hideaway, built around a large Sangrillo tree, is spread over two large rooms and is suitable for 5 people.

On the top floor there is a double bed with a private bathroom. The bathroom is between the immense roots of the Sangrillo tree. The room on the ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen, a bar, a lounge area and is equipped with a double bed and a sofa bed suitable for children. The 300-meter-long bounty beach outside front makes it the perfect getaway!

Beach Suite
The Beach suite can accommodate 6 people and consists of three bedrooms (one with air conditioning), a lounge, a roof terrace (with a great sea view!), a veranda, a fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is very spectacular... it is built in the shape of an igloo.

From the living room of the Beach Suite you can walk straight into this fairytale bathroom. The ceiling includes colored glass and in the room is a giant anaconda made of glass and marble and also serves as a shower unit. The ray of lights shines through the tinted glass and the colorful flower vines along the walls provides a magical and romantic atmosphere. It will take your breath away while you’re in the jacuzzi!

The Costa Rica Tree House and Beach Suite are located on an estate in the middle of the "Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge." Both accommodations are surrounded by a very unique botanical garden of tropical plants and many palm trees. The extensive gardens are populated with exotic birds and monkeys.

Don’t be surprised if you see a group of monkeys around the house if you look through the window in the morning.

The Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge is a protected area surrounded by mountains, white sandy beaches, rich coral reefs and mysterious swamps. In this area there is a diversity of species: crocodiles, jaguars, sloths, monkeys, exotic birds and reptiles. At Monkey Point beaches you can also see the place where sea turtles lay their eggs.

The Treehouse is reachable in several ways from San Jose airport; with rental car, bus or airplane. If you have a rental car, we recommend to ask for a taxi to lead the way to Guapiles-Limon. ($ 20) This saves a lot of time getting out of San Jose. You can also choose to book a private transfer to the hotel from San Jose. ($ 195 for two people). The trip from San Jose to Costa Rica Treehouse takes about 4-5 hours. It is also possible to reach The Costa Rica Treehouse within 45 minutes, then you just take an airplane ($ 750, 1-5 persons). The airplane departures from Pavas airport and then you will land in a banana plantation of Chiquita. A flight to remember!
