Glass Igloo

In the far north of Lapland, located in the forests, are the special accommodation Kakslauttanen situated, known for the spectacular glass igloos, snow igloos and ice chapel. The area is great for skiers and here you can make the most beautiful snowmobile safaris.

From this glass igloos you can see the beautiful starry sky of Lapland and of course the world famous Northern Lights (August / April). The igloos are built with special thermo glass, therefore the igloo inside at normal room temperature. This special material also ensures that the glass does not freeze so you can fully enjoy the beautiful views, even when the temperature outside drops to -30 C.

The igloos have luxury beds and even a toilet. Showers can be found in the nearby sauna complex where you can enjoy the use of the sauna in the morning. Nearby you can also take a dip in ice water!
